Chile, which has been considered the "Jaguar of Latin America" by local economists, is the first country in Latin America to have a free economy. However, despite relative prosperity within Latin America, a great disparity continues between socioeconomic classes. Chile still seeks considerable assistance from others
to build houses, improve education, develop business relations, and decrease illiteracy. Many volunteer opportunities are available with school children teaching second languages (French, German, and English), youth with drug problems, and the elderly. Your help is needed! Contact us and tell us where and how you would like to help.

In a commercial environment, you will meet colleagues, increase your language knowledge, further your career, and learn more about business opportunities in Chile.
Our school has contacts with numerous successful, stable, and experienced companies. Generally, they
offer internship opportunities in your field. However, they often require an intermediate to advanced level of
Spanish and/or professional experience in the specified field. Most of the companies do not pay a salary,
although some of them offer a small reimbursement (for transportation and lunch). The schedule can be
negotiated (half day or full day). The school, company, and student will design a program to meet your
professional goals.
