To apply for a volunteer position, you will be sent a volunteer application upon receipt of your Key Argentina registration form. Upon completion we will send you further information regarding you potential placement and program acceptance. Applications should be completed at least two weeks prior to your desired program start date. When received less than two weeks before program start date, applications are then accepted on a case by case basis.
Cost of the program is $450. To reserve your volunteer position and to be assured of all of the program benefits, a non-refundable deposit of $200 must be received prior to receiving orientation materials and beginning the program. If, for any reason you decide against your volunteer placement, and you have already paid the $450 in full, we will return your $250 ($450 - $200 non-refundable deposit).
Upon receipt of the deposit, registration is complete and volunteers will begin preparation for their trip.
Programs begin every Monday and applications are received on a rolling basis. Be sure to sign up as soon as possible to allow us sufficient time to provide you with the best placement possible.
In the unlikely event that we decide a program is not fit for a volunteer placement after receiving your program payment, we will refund your entire program or give you the option to choose another placement. We will not however, take responsibility for costs incurred during the process of planning your volunteer experience.
In the event that you are unable to attend the program after having registered, or once you've arrived to Buenos Aires, please inform us as soon as possible. If you're aware that you will miss a day at your volunteer site, early notification is always appreciated. In the event that you do not show up for 3 days at your volunteer site, you will be dismissed from the program.
